External Bounce or Internal?
I'm getting ready to record my rock band on my Tascam 414 mkii. I am trying to decide which thing to do. I was thinking of either internally bouncing tracks, usually only two at a time, like guitar and bass to one track. But, I read external is much better. All I have to do that with is a Philips external CD-burner. Which would provide better sound? The raw tracks I would be bouncing would probably consist of drums, bass, and rhythm guitar. Thanks a ton.

Submix to an external source, then back to a new section of tape -- if you mess up the submix, then at least you can always go back and re-do it.
