LX20 Error 07

HELP!!!!

Got an LX20 with 108 hours on the drum and version 1.03 firmware. I can format tapes but get an Error 07 every time I try to record. I've run a Black Watch cleaning tape several times but no good. I'm using new Quantegy 489 tapes that I put through a tape rewinder several times first.

Any suggestions?

dude...listen up.

I'm having this exact same problem right now. I found that you only get this error 7 after formatting tapes. So if you buy the formatted tapes, you shouldn't have this problem. This will tide you over till you get it serviced.
