anyone know of any sites that teaches the basic technics of playing drum....? preferbably with pics....

I've been playing drums in church, but lack of some proper technics and can't seem to roll fast enough....

Instructional drum books aren't that expensive. Under Danny Carey's recommendation, I've started to study from '4-Way Coordination' by Marvin Dahlgren and Elliot Fine ($12.95). The book basically deals with getting all four limbs to work independently - useful for polyrhythms and such. I don't imagine there's much need for polyrhthms in church, but whatever makes you a better drummer is a good thing.
