Question 424 to soundcard, need limiting in between?

I haven't bought the 424 yet, but I'm planning on sending my 4-track recordings to the computer through the line-in of the soundcard, and mixing in the computer.

Am I going to need to use a limiter to keep from overloading the soundcard, or does the 424 not have that hot a signal?

Thanks,
Monty

This isn't what a limiter is intended to limit, and anyway, the signal from the 424 won't need to be dampened.

How are you going to mix on the computer if you plan to dump your tracks into the single line in of your sound card? You'll either need to dump one track at a time, get a soundcard with more inputs, or mix on the 4 track and use the computer for some editing/master/burning etc.

Thanks, Vurt.

Not sure how I'm going to work it all out, yet.
