My first two efforts using my Tascam 788

I just started recording at home this week. Here are the first two efforts. The levels are a bit low, but people seem to be enjoying the results anyway.

BTW, if you like these, you can get information on me and my fist cd at www.jimsoloway.com

I couldn't get the first link to work? But the other one worked fine. Bring it on Home Jim! I really enjoyed that. Very nice sound all around. that guitar is smooth. Your vocals are top notch too, in my opinion. My only suggestion is maybe bring up the guitar volume a bit? But its a keeper for sure. I have a 788 too. Quite a machine. I hope I can hear that other song if you get the link working.

Cool Fellow 788 User

Good Job! Nice sound...Maybe it's me, but the vocals seem a bit loud at times and maybe the mix could use some more high's.. but I'm just being very picky by saying that....It really is very good... really easy voice to listen to.........I enjoyed the song.......I enjoy it even more knowing it was a 788...

Great job man..... I really, really, like your voice...sooooothing sounds..

I've fixed the first link so they both should work now. Sorry about the error.

Very nice sound, Jim. I tend to favor a little more "room" sound, but as it stands it has a nice vintage flavor. Nice indeed.
