Ok, I feel like an idiot but here goes:
I just got everything up and running with the 896 and DP3 on my new Mac. When using the headphone output on the 896, I can listen back to tracks I've already completed, but why am I unable to monitor the track that I'm recording? Thanks. |

Motu control panel...
I have a 828 (I assume the 896 is similar) and you should have a software control panel.
You should be able to go to monitor input and select which one you want to listen to. It is probably set to Analog 1-2 or none - which is why you can hear the playback. Select the Channel (s) you are recording into on the Motu and you should hear them. Hope this works... zip >>
