help with reel to reel unit
hi, i'm a hip-hop producer that wants to buy a nice, but cheaper used reel to reel tape recorder to put drums on, and then resample them. i was wondering if anyone could recommend something that i might be able to find off of ebay for around 200-300 dollars, or cheaper, that this would be good for. i want something quality though. any info would be appreciated. also, i'm not limiting the unit to this only, but this is my primary objection. thanks

This stuff is of awesome quality & workmanship.
Be warned, it will most likely make what ever you are using, sound like crap. I own similar Multitracks & I am shocked sometimes at the sound. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=1341240841 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...item=853844199 |

check e-bay and pawn shops, old gear is cheap and you can get good results for the money you put down, i have brought a lot of 4 track machines from local papers and pawn shops in good working order, most times i will buy 2 of each model so i have one for spare parts.
