Keith Moon, Ian Paice.....it is all about Style!

Keith moon has such a cool style unlike anything I have ever heard.

I was listening to The Who, Live at Leeds...young man's blues, and Moon was just going nuts. I like that on the edge of control, yet totally in control sound.

I also think that Ian Paice of Deep Purple is way under rated. He just has such a cool style of playing and a lot of tasty licks. Listen to any thing off of Machine Head....the guy is great!!

I saw Rush and was blown away by how good Neil Peart is, but something about his style just doesn't grab me. No doubt though, he is one of the very best to have ever picked up a pair of sticks

Alex VH has a cool style too.

keith moon is absolutely amazing...i saw the 'live at the isle of wight' video where he's frantically beating the shit out of his kit...live it leeds has awesome drumming all the way too..."fortune teller", "tattoo", "heaven and hell" are crazy.

mitch mitchell is fabulous too, lots of touch, and very tasteful..."hey joe" and "fire" would stand out i suppose.

i love john bonham's heavy, pounding, sound too, it specially stands out on "when the levee breaks".
