Mxl V93m ?

I am in the market for a V67M, and was looking on Mars to see how much a shock mount costs. (I assume this is a necessary item though I don't know what it is), and ran across the V93M which has a cost that is probably comprable to a V67M + shockmount. Does anyone know what the reputation is on this mic and how does it compare to the V67M?

Well heres how it goes with these two mics. The V67 has a much more colored sound on vocals. Very warm and fat. If you need a good VOCAL LD condenser I think that would be a better choice. If you need more of an all purpose LD condenser with an accurate but less colored sound, then the V93 would be a better choice. I would say either would be good for the money, it just depends on what you are going to use them for.

Hope that helps
