sonusman deserves props on character also!!!

...........Today I hooked up with VOXVENDOR here in the NYC conversatin' on gear and music when sonusman's name cape up !
Long story short, we all know sonus's expertise and experience is beyond reproach and that he can flame with the best of 'em.
Strongly opinionated and on occasion can be, uhhh, long-winded
in his posts (no offense Ed!)
N-E way, a while back VOX replied to a thread in re to the neccessity of having your music mastered of which sonus retorted back by disagreeing with VOX's assesment and in the process injecting some flammable barbs in VOX's direction. VOX,upset at
sonus's remarks, left this BBS returning later known as "BLEEDING GUMS".
However,sonus-my-man,noticing VOX's absence here, sent him a
a e-mail which basically informing VOX not to take his statements to heart and to apologize for any misunderstanding that VOX may
have took too personal!
Or in VOX's own words..."Yo' Q, sonusman sent me a long detailed e-mail that touched me so,it literally brought tears to my eyes",thus VOXVENDOR returned with a full appreciation of sonus-my-man and HR.COM!!!
My point in bringing this up!!
Though we members may be faceless to each other with USER names nowhere resembling our real names;though we try to re-invent & portray ourselves as something we're truly not; even attempting to hide our strengths and weaknesses thru falsifying
our persona's,eventually the REAL YOU appears! Here at HR.COM
is a great opportunity to make new friends,learn more than just
music and recording (just visit the CAVE),networking and sharing!
So far to date, I've met drstawl, LI SLIM,Treeline,Village Idiot (aka
Dougie Johnson, dragonworks,Hard2Hear,ThatUpStateGuy,Tattoed Drummer,pglewis,FmMahoganeyrush,C-7,Riley357,T.Hawkins VOXVENDOR (plus fam) and the man who started it all, THE DRAGON!!!!! I've rec'd and enjoyed recorded music mailed to me from many a members here ( I need to reciprocate!!) and rapped via web-chat lines and the telephone with others!!
So keep it real peeps and just be you. Don't try and be something
or some-1 you're not! And lastly, don't make assumptions or attempt to ridicule others until you really know that individual!
One never knows when you might meet that individual in real life!

Why I posted this here is beyond reason!!! Wait, I know!!
I'm feelin' rite nice rite about now;enjoyed my time with VOXVENDOR today and his convo about sonus-my-man, MY BRUTHA' from ANUTHA' MUTHA'!!

life realy is too short for us all to be anything less then friends with others.

I sometimes even think when ive been flamed in here sometimes flaming back proves nothing even though ive been guilty of the past of continuing it on.

to think if people all held back a lil and gave the next person the right of way how easy it all would be such a simple lesson but such a task for many to learn.

Its so much better to show a person where their wrong and why then biting their heads of for trying in the first place

i think bbs of late has become to gear orientated and not enough has been done to encourage real learning and thinking rather many seem to be caught up in this post a poll thing where every 5 mins someone wants to compare this to that or this vs that ive not read alot of riveting stuff in here of late im sorry to say that but thats how it feels and thats not a critisim on those who do try real hard to assist out with their brilliant factual posts created to bring about learning but i feel a lot more could be done to encourage the right kind of content on the boards rather then the repeat info that seems to have been sticking around of late.

Sonusman is cool, and is an amazing guy.... He comes across hard to many, but there is a human there, and he is a great guy..

In fact, if I were gay and he were gay.. I would be going after him ..

Anyway.. thanks for relaying the story MRQ... I would have never told the story myself.. Im not much for expressing public flattery ... So Im glad you did.. cause more people need to express love to Sonusman...

Oh.. I want to make sure the story doesn't have any inaccuracies in it...Me and Q were driving in NYC and shooting the shit, and amongst deeking out all the cabs that were attacking us, we might have misscomunicated a bit, or I just didn't tell the story right....
