For you guys out there that use reel to reel multitrackers, like a Teac a 3440 4ch or a 2ch or whatever you use, what are the Pros and Cons of using them?

With a reel to reel you get to "watch the wheels go 'round and 'round".

Unhappy

Hi Dan,

I had a Teac 3440. It would go from play to stop at random times, I could not get it fixed. I now record on a Panasonic stereo HI FI VCR, beleive it or not it makes a better recording than my old reel to reel, no tape hiss, no flutter, just like digital. Try it sometime, I think you will be amazed.
