Yes you can both mix and mox down to a cd-r recorder, but you have to do it in software first. What multitrack software are you using (Cubase, Cakewalk, Sonar, N-Tracks...)?

Or is it a standalone cd-r recorder you're using?? Give some info on your setup

I suggest that you go thru your computer till you get the mix right on you hard drive then burn to cd. You make less coasters that way.
