Question on clarity ?

I have been at recording lately with the band, heavily.
Most of my songs are quite busy.
There is usually Drums, Bass Acoustic Guitar, Lead Guitar, Keys
Lead Vox & Back VOCALS.
Although I have taken steps to keep things quite & isolated when it comes
to miking, the songs all do seem to lose clarity.

Other then deleting instruments, I welcome advice on keeping the Mix clear.

ANY SUGGESTIONS ?
