basic eq primer

I came across this basic eq primer and I thought people might be interested. I am new to the recording/mixing world and I was having trouble finding a place to place to start learning about eq. This article seems to have a lot of good info. Of course you have to use your ears, and every mix is different, but its good to have at least a basic start point.
