I LOVE the input-normalling.. 2 or 4 or 8 inputs can feed all 24 channels... This machine is too good to be true.... Network setup was a breeze... Fuck tape...

No, I don't want no stinkin' ADATs....... unless it's a ADAT HD24...

Soon I'll buy a 19" house to it and it's friends... I think I'll move in aswell...

Damn... This machine owns me....

The wif-ee has threatened to leave me! Late at nite for the past 2 weeks, I can hear my HD24 callin' me............. Always around 1 in the A.M.!!!!! Tellin' me..."Pssssst Q, come'on down stairs!!! Arm my 24 tracks!!!! Set my sample rate...Compose a new jammy. Come on down and just turn on my power switch!!! You don't need your wife and kid , leave 'em, just leave 'em and stay wit' me!!....."

Every nite, I go dow to the basement stoo-dee-o and try something new!!! going back to bed at around 3-4 in the a.m.!!!

Help!!! It's controlling meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..........................

Why is the HD24 called an ADAT

Doesn't ADAT stand for Alessis Digital Audio Tape?
Shouldn't is be an ADHD or is that it?

True, but now it applies to just about anything with Lightpipe gozintas and gozoutas.

ADAT is not an object, it is a way of life.

That's a rough decision, but i understand the 'call of the wires'. MAN! You ever wake up out of a sound sleep with a song stuck in your head?...get out of bed...lay it down, and THEN go back to bed. It's insanity!

Thumbs up

mshea, I'm feelin' you on that one. Since I bought the HD24(along
with a Roland sound Module, a comp,2 EQ's- a graph and para,patchbay) 2 weeks ago, I think at the most I'v gotten about a total of 20,25 max,hours of sleep!! D@mn near 2 hours a day
for 2 weeks!! Bad enuff I go down to my basement to learn how to fully operate the the thing every nite to 2-3 in the a.m.(mind you, I gotta' get up @ 5 in the a.m. to shower-shave and get ready for work) but it's even worse when a jammy pop's up in my
cranium when I do go to bed late and it forces me rite back down
to the basement where just 2 days ago, I went to work with absolutely NO SLEEP!!!
After to-nite,I'll prob'ly take a break and spend some time with the fam...... If I can still remember their names and what they look like!!

Dig-it baby

I agree, the HD 24 ROCKS! I would like to buy a second just in case my first one ever goes bad, Man I love playing with this thing.

I did a punch in loop and did about 150 takes to get a very difficult part just absolutely perfect. ....and I did finally get it .

I could not play that piece like that ever again even if a gun was held to my head, but there it is........and I did actually play it.

It's like cheating.
