Is this a bug?

I work with a lot of midi and step recording in Sonar.
Sometimes I will end up with a bunch of separate clips on one track as I create music in the Piano Roll View. So I will go to the main track view and bounce each individual tracks to clips just to clean things up.. no big deal right? do it all the time.

The problem I'm getting is that if I combine all clips to one big one, I lose any notes that hit on the first beat of the first bar of the song. The bad part is, I can't put the notes back either. They just keep disappearing when I redraw them.

Has anyone seen this problem too?
