sound card issues

I recently installed Sonar Xl and when it was intsalling it only recognized my sound card (SB LIVE VALUE) as mono. Everything works fine to this point except it's Mono! Any help out there?

thanks for the reply. ididn;t mention that all my other programs do play in stereo. does this change anything? thanks again

Are you using Win XP?? I have heard that the WDM drivers supplied with XP recognize the SB Live card as mono. The fix apparently is to "rollback" the drivers in Control Panel.

I had the same problems for a while.

I had upgraded to a SBLive 5.1 after Sonar XL was already installed. After I relized I was having problems with it I reinstalled Sonar and everything worked great.

I would give it a try!
