I've got my digital 8 track recorder and almost everything I need to do some good music, and I'm doing quite well, actually - BUT - I own a Korg D-8 with only two inputs and I feel sick plugging in and out jacks everytime I have to change instrument for the overdubs (and I think that this infinite "in-and-out" may cause some damage on the input female jacks, isn't it?). Shall I buy a mixer? if so, which kind and model do you recommend (<= 300 $)? Thanks a lot and sorry for my brutal English... Marco Colombo

If I were in your shoes, I would by a mixer. If you look around you can find small ones for around $300.00 US. Granted it will be feature limited but it's a damb site better than wearing out your rcorders input jacks. You will gain better control of your input signals.
