Recording setup questions - please read!

Hi, I haven't posted anything on here in a while. Now I've finally figured out what sort of set I want, I thought I'd see if anyone here has any opinions on what im doing, or any advice!

what I want to do is get a

yamaha 01V with 2 cards,
the AX16AT and the MY8AT to link it to a
yamaha Ds2416 card(dsp factory).

does anyone here have this setup?
does anyone here no anything that is better value for money?

what would be the cheapest way to get a versatile mic setup for a 4 peice band?
