Did you write? Sing? Rap? this? Or did you just record it?

Not a big Hip-Hop fan but this is not that bad. Has a good sound too it, damn near professional sounding.

BTW- I am talking about "Break-Up".....the most glaring thing for me is the lyrical content. The chorus isn't very good, takes away from the song. Not trying to sound rude or anything but I did start laughing when I heard the chorus......the song sounds so good and then the amatuerish lyrics come in and ruins it for me.

Nice synth pad intro...watch that high voice...it's outta tune??...eh? Nice lo-end. The high voice is MUCH better during the rap...
hey, dis hip hop tait so bad....I kinda like it...specially the music.
I really like the background singing over the verses...adds alot. I could do without some of the language...but that's me...Mr Kentucky!!
this song smokes your first one....for a lack of better terms...it's more musical....funny term when describing a tune...eh?
good job....fix dose outta tune spot now....

oh..and fix that last note on the synth pad for the last note of the song...you need to ditch it before the vocals fade...let the vocals carry the end of the tune...not a synth sound laggin late...get me??

I listened to break up.

Pretty cool.

I loved the strings.

In the chorus, I thought the vox had a wierd high end.

Nice track. I would emphasize the bass guit.

You know cyan that bass guitar was so sweet but I was having such a problem with the mids and highs during the mixdown getting distorted at high volumes that I had to set it back a little....I think I need to track it with a better bass guitar

gec,

I didnt like that first song because it had too much of a "Kid N Play" meets "Vanilla Ice" meets "M.C. Hammer" feel, but "Break up" was cool. I like those backing vocals too. Funny song. It has a cooler vibe. The recording is excellent too. Sound quality was real good. Good luck wit it!

By the way, I'm from New York and wanted to say,

"LETS GO METS!"

peace.

gec, Guess you mean the record sleeve. Glad you like it, agree with you. It's Shadowscapes, Stephanie Pui-Mun Law, visual artist who made it. Visit her website at: www.shadowscapes.com .
The website is made by me, not complicated.

Thumbs up

Gec,

Homeboy's at it again, nice work as usual, Love the synth and basslines, smooth groove. Only a couple things that bothered me bout the track, first it seems like there's a lot of proper lows, they keep the groove bumpin, real tight, however seems like there isn't enough highs. I guess I'm just a treble junkie maybe or maybe that was a desired effect, or maybe it's dese shit ass monitors, but hey. Other thing was those "huh"s before "reations breakin(I think)..." are kinda a bit cheesy for me. Again though man solid track, real nice flow to it and good mood.

Laj
