I have done a fair amount of live sound production but no multi-tracking recording experince to speak of.

If I want to do multi-tracking recording for benefit of myself, not a big production finished product and I have a good quality mixer, microphones, monitors, power amps, headphones, EQ's Compressors, effects etc, really everything except the recorder. What type of gear would I need to complete my studio?

I realize most people don't want to name brand names but if you could give my a few examples, maybe some generic suggestions, I would be greatly appreciative.

Thanks

ps. I'm really not set up for recording off a PC at this time.

Hey NCat,
I would suggest an ADAT or DTRS multitrack. I am partial to the DTRS (to name names: the TASCAM DA-38 is a great machine) and I didn't see a 2 track mixdown device in your gear list, so you also might need a CD-R, DAT, cassette, or mini disc machine to mix down to.
Hope this helps!
Brad
