What Amp?

Hey Guys,

I am finnaly on the verge of being able to afford some decent studio monitors. While I've done plenty of research on the actual monitors, and have decided that the Tannoy Reveals will grace my meager studio, I have yet to even begin to consider what amp will be the best/most affordable. So I was just wondering what amp I should go with. I don't need anything that cranks to to loud but just something that delivers as pure a sound as possible, and has a headphone adapter, hence a desktop type would be best. I'm looking at being able to spend around $200 give or take fifty bucks or so. Again I'm kinda at a loss here being that I know next to nothing about monitors or amps so any ideas or links to sites with good cumulative product reviews would be extremely helpful and equally as appreciated. Thanks a ton in advance!

QSC has always had decent amps at a good price.

Hafler TA series, I got the TA1600 at musicians friend for 249+ shipping. It's 75 watts. I'm not sure what the TA1000 was. What wattage will your monitors handle?

Thanks alot men, exactly what I was lookin for, god how I love this place! Looks as though the TA1100 will perfect, 50w is plenty, as I'm sure my neighbours would agree. Will do a little more research for posterity's sake. Thanks again for the help!
