Talking Monitor speaker advise

Folks!
i love this place. The people are extremely friendly and helpful. I have got a load of stuff done with your help. Thank you! With that in mind....I have another question:

I am using the SBLIVE soundfonts. I also got a ROLAND external synth. What's the best way to connect the output of the synth to my PC? I got a a pair of Monitor speakers. basically I need to listen to the Roland synth and the SBLive sound fonts through my monitor speakers. Do I need a mixer?

Thanks!

Connect the Rolands' outs to the LINE IN on the blaster. Connect the SPEAKER or LINE OUT on the blaster to your monitors.

Double click on the speaker icon in the lower right corner in windows to open up the windows mixer. Make sure the volume on the line in (Roland) is up and the MIDI(Sound Fonts) is up.

Good Luck
