DM-24 Questions

All I really want to know is how the preamps on the DM-24 compare to the Mackie VLZ-Pro's or the Spirit M series' pres. And I'd like to know how the converters are as well.

I have a Soundscape Mixtreme, and the EQ on it works well, so it isn't as important as the quality of the pres or the converters, although I'd like to hear what can be said about it. I understand all of the capabilities for the price, but I want to know how this thing sounds.
