Mastering from D824 - Home Recording

Mastering from D824

Have recently jumped on the firewagon assuming the 8/1624s were going out of production. I have tracked alot of stuff and am learning as I go. Will soon need to master and burn my work. It seems going to a PC to final mix/master and then burn to CD is a good idea. Can someone shoot me some reality??
