Yamaha Motif 8 ..your feedback?

I just got my hands on a Motif 8 and am dying to buy one!

It has been a long time since I have had a keyboard with that kind of sound in my hands. I am impressed with the improvements Yamaha has made on their lower end sound.

I also loved the action in the keys. Very smooth and responsive down to the softest of my touches.

Most of the time I see a keyboard under 3 grand and they are either tinny or more flash than substance. Eveything I seem to like runs about 5k.

This motif is priced at $2600.

So I am wondering....

does anyone have it? If so what do you think?

Would you suggest something different? If so why?

I would be using it for my own recording with my Sonar system for personal use and recording.
