can anybody out there please tell me how can i loop a beat i make on my casio ctk-671. i have a computer and some good software so i though i could loop it on there but when i try to loop it on the computer like i would play the beat i made from my keybaord and it is about just say 15 seconds and then i copy it and paste it on another track and try to put it right next to the beat i recorded first but it seems to always come before it needed to come or it come to early or a pause will be in it ive tried about everything if anybody can tell me anyway i can get a beat i make to loop can u please tell me. im about to get a zoom 123 so i can use there drumkits instead of the keyboard so maybe i can just worry about looping the instrument part of the keyboard. if anybody can help me it would glady be appreciated

What program are you using to loop the material ?

You could use Cool Edit or Sound Forge, to "loop" and "edit" your material.
Or pick up some freeware/shareware at... http://www.hitsquad.com/smm ![]()

When "looping" your material. You should start the loop directly before the first beat, then end it right before the beginning of the first beat again. Do you understand, what I just said?
OK, truncate the material before the beginning of beat #1. Once the material is about to repeat, truncate everything afterwards. Did that make a little more sense? If not, post us back. ![]()

Now, that I am re-reading your post, I see that you need to get an EDITOR (check one of the previus posts).
I use Sound Forge 5.0. http://www.sonicfoundry.com You will need to work on your "editing" skills. ![]() peace...

no spinsterwun id didnt help maybe i dont know what im doing. see i make a beat on the keyboard and lets say its abot 15 sec the whole beat. i have the casio ctk-671 so i record the beat i made on there into my computer threw the audio and then i copy the beat and try to to loop it or put it next after the first beat i put on my computer but it dont connect right the loop that i copy always come in late or it always come to early so the beat sounds off beat and crazy. if you know a keyboard that 500 or less that have looping capabilites and real and editable step recording could you tell me because i think that what im going to need a keyboard that loops because it want loop on my computer i use n-track softeare and it is a good software if u have any more idas it show will help
