90's Tele Thinline. Do they still make um? Do you play one?
I've a 72 reissue and dig its tone. Just wondering if anyone plays the 90's thinline and what they think of it.
I never see them in stores. Theron. |

A few years ago Squire made a Thinline (Beautifully finished Clear Red) with a maple neck and All Gold Hardware. It's is labeled a "Pro-Tone" whatever that means.
I bought it and I love it! I had an original Fender Thinline Tele. In Natural ash Finish way back in the early 70's, but the neck was like a chubby baseball bat! I think the Squire plays and sounds much better. Stays in tune perfectly and Looks like a million bucks! Dom Franco |

theron,
I have a 72 reissue with the humbuckers. I keep it tuned for slide guitar and it is a great axe. You're right I haven't seen them advertised in quite a while. Maybe they only made a few and were sold out. |
