Which cpu program would you recommend that is just as good as a digital 12-16 track recorder....But you dont have to take a corespondence course to learn how to operate it .I like the independence of my home studio but I dont want to spend hours and hours and hours trying to learn about features that I honestly dont need, sapping the fun and creativity out of my music.Anybody who feels the same and has any suggestions I'd really appreciate it..THANKS

Almost all of the DAW systems are easy to do basic tracking and mixing. Its when you want to do a lot of complicated cut and paste, crossfades and waveform editing that they get difficult to use.
Most of them will be as simple or complicated as you want them to be. |
