Revolutionizing beatmaking with this instrumental..
I'm very proud of this one. People, this one keeps building, I tell you, listen until at least first 1:10, so you can get all of the instrumentation that is involved.. Absolutely NO samples involved either, all sounds fresh off my synth, the Roland jv 1010. Not even presets, might I add, I played them notes
http://artists.mp3s.com/artist_song/2202/2202845.html hows the mixing, eq'ing, mastering? |

Definitely a GREAT song!
You might want to consider getting some of your music licensed to some soundtracks. peace....

yeah.. great track. as Spin said, it would sound great on allmost any soundtrack, but it's seriously looped though..something needs happen, or it needs to be shorter..
Luw it, but it get's a bit repetitive after a while..

Nice one Mr.Sol,
![]() Did all the sounds come from the Roland? If yes, I think that's the reason for my only major criticism. It has a bit too much of that claustrophobic 'sameness' quality you get when sounds all come out of one box or through the same effects. If you expanded your gear with a few modules having different timbres and used a higher quality external reverb (or plugin), you'd do your instrumentation skills more justice and have a more open sounding mix. barefoot |

thanks to everyone for replying gec - damn do so, i guess i missed it? soleternity@hotmail.com thanks much for replying peeps, again, i appreciate it a lot lot lot. i do agree, it gets repetitve, there's 3 loops in this beat, each about 1:15 long, containing 1 verse and 1 chorus. i could change it up and add strings to the finale, etc, but i kinda of liked it as reptitive, it gives the emcees less to incorporate when writing, and lets their emotion dictate the track as much as possible. peace |
