Fostex x-55

Hello everybody:
I have a Fostex X55 and since I bought it I have the same problem: When I start recording everything is ok but when the tape is used for a couple of songs the recording speed changes automatically (same as if you were moving the pitch button).
I never touched the pitch button. I am using TDK or Sony Crome Tipe II 60" tapes.
Is there anyone that can help me with this problme??. I cannot use my unit.
