That NT-4 is pretty wild looking, isn't it? Wonder what pricing will be. The NT-4 will at least take the guesswork out of it for most people.

That NT4 is a cool looking mic. I don't know if I would buy one though. I think you're better off getting a couple of small diaphragm mics and placing them yourself. That way you can have more control over the imaging. With this mic you're pretty much stuck with the 90 degree array that is built in.

I guess if a person really liked the sound of it though it would be nice to have. It would save a lot of setting up hassle.

P.S. I like the fact that the NT-5 comes in already matched pairs. That takes the guess work out of it for a lot of people as well.

Has anyone looked at Rode's site for further info? I did yesterday and couldn't find a mention of these mics

On Harmony Centrals home page they have a link to new from Namm,you can find a link to the new Rode mics there(I think they had the MSRP too).The NT4 looks pretty cool.

Lightbulb

The NT5 looks alot like the Neumann KM184. Just an observation, never used any Rode mics! (though I wouldn't mind having an NTK if I had extra $!)
