Hip Hop Setups

For Hip Hop, spending $3000, are there any setups that will outperform a Yamaha Motif or Korg Triton combined with a MPC 2000xl. Please list the setup if you suggest something different...

I'm kind of set on the MOtif/MPC combo, I was just wondering with spending $3000, are there any other setups that would allow me to do more than this set?

that may be overkill, the motifs sequencer is tricky

i use a triton le midied (is that a word) up with a su 700 and im happy, but i would like an mpc

naw a motif/mpc combo isn't no where near over kill, my man mike, he has overkill.

MPC2000xL-SE3/ Motif7/ triton studio 76/ Fantom/ k2600/ proteus 2500, turbo phatt and some other things

you know when we were at mars you were loving the motif, so get the motif and mpc or motif and rs7000. either way you go you'll have some good equipment (i'll call wiz and see if he can get another mpc for $400 for you if you want me to)
