Do I need a band name?

I record solo arrangements for kicks, not my career. Maybe it's easier if I just use my own name. At least people will be able to find me.

What are your thoughts?

JuliusIrvingJr. is on a distinguished road
names are not necessary, but they can be fun and also a way to draw attention to yourself. For the most part, i find regular names boring, unless your name is johnny cash.
