Hi, im very new at this, my question is, how do I connect my keyboard to my mixer? whats the name of the cord/cable?

balanced/unbalanced 1/4" jack stick cables from your keyboards' Outputs on the back panel to the Line Ins on the back of your mixer..

is there somway i can use the midi input, because i dont think my keyboard has that input youve decribed

Do you have one of those "Personal Keyboards"?
If you only have a "Phones" or "Phono" output (because of built in speakers) then that's all you have to plug any audio into any inputs on your mixer.
However, if that's the calibre of you "instrument" then why record it at all? ![]()

You can, but be careful that you don't fry your speakers.
I wouldn't recommend using such a keyboard for anything more serious than beating on at the beach around a campfire. Why not spend a few $100 on something more substantial? Maybe something used? Carl
