WHEN BOUNCING AND LINKing,2 TRACKS LIGHT NOT ONE

lets say im bouncing tracks 1-4 to track 5.
when i press the link button to bounce it to 5,
track 5 and 6 light up.
now i know how to record that to CD.but why does sumtimes 1
track light up on one song.then the next song 2 tracks light up on the link option?

whats the difference that the roland decides it has to bounce to sumtimes 1 track and sumtimes 2 tracks.

HI there,...what model do you have?...(if it´s on the VS880-880ex-series) maybe you have the link ON (for tracks 5/6 all together) on one Song,and not in the other Song.I think it´s there where you chose to bounce into 1 or 2 channels.

If you place " link OFF" on channel 5 it will be; 5 ON- 6 OFF and it will bounce only into Channel 5.
The same applys to if you want to bounce those 1-4 tracks into 5/6 Channels you must turn " link ON "

yeah i got the 1680, but it says to bounce tracks that i have to put the link on.
