One thing to recognise the Soundblaster PCI 128 is that it has four outputs coloured red, black, green and blue. It is a decent card for audio recording because of it's outstanding frequency response and signal to noise level (for newbies: it will sound great and doesn't add any noise to the recording). Rumours say it is even better for (analogue) audio recording than the SB Live! The SB PCI 64 is equally good, but it has only three outputs because it is lacking the back speaker output. You don't need that for recording.
