If i get monitors...
I have a problem of mixing through headphones, transfering, and having a few parts too loud and they weren't on the other computer. If I got monitors, would it satisfy this?? I don't quite understand how they work, they're like the truth of how it sounds or somethin??
If any of you can recommend me to cheap ones that'll work (i'm not lookin for pro quality, but ones that will tell the truth or close to it of how the mix sounds), i'd be a very very happy guy =)

You've been around here awhile... I'm surprised you haven't seen my many threads indicating that mixing with headphones is a no-no - for the very reason you've seen -- they don't translate very well to monitors or speakers.

Yo Shaded Anged:]
If I could create CD's the way the mix sounds in headphones, I'd be on Broadway and MTV. Bruce spelled it out. So many threads regarding how important "good" monitors are. [Good depends on your ears, your wallet, your skill, and your goals.] If you look around this site, many types of monitors are discussed and evaluated. So, get to a vendor and vendorize his wares with your ears. Go during the day so as to see hear clearly. Green Hornet ![]() |

I concur with Bruce and Green Hornet, word for word.
