Roland S-10

So I picked up an S-10 at a garage sale for $2.00 and it doesn't work. I know nothing about it. Is it worth taking somewhere and having it looked at? It's a sampler, so, does anyone know the hard drive memory? Any info onthis thing would be appreciated because it's been taking up space in my closet now for 6 months and before I toss it in the dumpster I thought I'd ask. I could really use a simple sampler.

Even if it's not such a great machine, does anyone have a guess as to what I'd pay to have it repaired?
