Question 8 mics one band

hi there all. i'm recording a band with 8 mics a vs1880.the band consists of drums, guitar bass & keys oh of course a singer.I want to do the old kick and 2 over heads on the drums and 1 mic for the rest,I will be recording the band live in a rather large room can any one tell me of the troubles I will face in regards to spill (specialy with the over heads) and how much baffels (in my case office dividers )will heelp and or hinder this process. I want the band to be comphy with the set up and be able to see each other (for those esenstial nods and winks ).And should I splash out and mic the snare any help and thoughts would be great .

if my maths are right, you've got one mic left!!!! so go on, mic the snare, you know you want to seriously that extra bit of attack will mean the difference between nice drums and ok drums, imho of course!
