Brand new here and to the world of digital multitracking. I've been looking at the br-8 and listening to the pros and cons. Seems the one I see most is the 100 mb zip limitations. Now I see the zoom mrs-1044 which has an internal hardrive, onboard programmable drum machine w/ pads, and no signal compression. It's usually only 40 or 50 dollars more than the br-8 from what I've seen. Anybody in the know had a chance to compare the features/quality of the two? Thanks very much!

Re: br-8 vs. zoom mrs-1044
IMO, it is a no-brainer. Get the Zoom!
