Hey
If you have a Digital IN on your sound card use your digital out on the BR8 to connect. U should be ok then.

Thumbs up

If you recording electric guitar, than you don't need the mic. Please read the first 30 pages of the manual, the BR-8 is really ez to use but like anything you must try things for yourself first.

Thumbs up

thank you for the posts,guys!!
i wanted to try and keep the 424 on my desk, and give it some purpose.presently i have my monitors running out of the 424 monitor outs, and the br8 connected to the sub inputs.i thought there was some way to use the 424's mixer section with the br8 to get more sound shaping possibilities.
