Congratulations! Your songs made it over the ocean! :-)

I think most of your songs are great not only because they have a style I never heard before. Mostly I like anguilar street (cool rhythm) and you are like the sky.

Just one point: The effect on your voice (is it a flanger?) sounds very good on you are like the sky, but on some of the other songs it's hard to understand anything you sing. I think a clear voice with not so much effect would fit in better

my muddy vocals

well, i would like comment on 'i think', as far as arrangement and playing. i think the riff is different enough YET musical enough to warrant an attentive listen.
and my 'pop' song, High Noon, i think the vocals could be better
but the song itself is fairly cool but a little muddy.

and i agree, my vocals tend to be a little muddy. i am learning
how to clean up my mixes and what you have there on mp3.com is first version stuff... typically all were done in just a couple weeks time, sometimes 2 or 3 songs a day. so i didnt care for polishing them at all i just wanted to get them out there. well, now i am more concerned with quality, so i am taking my time with mixing and such. i am not a singer, but there are some things i want to say that a guitar wont say so i do my best at the time. but now since i am learning how to mix better, i can produce better stuff. ok, its still amateur, but i play good

thanks for listening!

recently i have looped drum samples and created songs around those loops. there is virtually no dynamic in the rhythm so its straightahead pumping and bumping for 3-4 minutes :/

its not too bad
i also recently recorded the theme song to an old TV show, UFO (does anybody remember that?!), and did ALL the horn parts in about 8 different tracks and mixed it down. sounds kinda neat.
anyways, talk to ya later.

Well, the biggest problem IMO is the guitar tone. I'm not sure how you're recording it, straight into your recorder maybe through a stomp box or fx processor I'd guess. You should seriously try micing up a good amp, you'd get 10x better results. The second biggest problem is the canned drums, which I think the songs would probably be better without, or get some better samples. Overall, the mixes are far to effected for my taste. Although I like that effect on your vocals too, maybe just use a little less. You do have a pretty damn eclectic mix of stuff on there though which is cool and overall you nail the different genres pretty well. The guitar playing was pretty decent on the couple songs I listened to. Keep it up.
