Hi..I just recently free downloaded CoolEdit's 2.1 Demo version.
My main program is Logic Audio Platinum version 8.0. I've noticed that 3 of the plug ins that I free downloaded from a different site some months ago have automatically imported themselves into my Logic's inserts (environment).. its called "Direct Show". But when I free download other vst plug ins to add to these, they are not getting through to Logic. Can anyone help me here ? ...And - as I've free downloaded CoolEdit 2.1 demo , can I somehow use it's fx in Logic ? ...can help..? |

...the same with cool edit...you will not be able to use cool edits effects in other apps.
You can download a VST>DX converter thing somewhere I believe. pAp |

........ and Logic Platinum *4.8*??
The vst plug ins go in a folder in your logic platinum folder. If it is V4.8, you should find a folder there already called 'VstPlugins', paste them all in there. If the folder doesn't exist, create one yourself in the logic platinum folder called exactly Vstplugins (typed like that - can't remember for sure if it needs to be exact, but that's what mine says). They should work then without the need of DX wrapper. cp. |
