wav to mp3

how do you save as mp3 in cool edit pro? It has mpeg as an option but when i select it and replay the file it wont playback. Is there a plug in or something?

wut? hmmm.. well it all depends on whether you wanna spend 25$... i use ce2000 for saving mp3s so i don't have to..

that sucks you'd think by paying 4 bills for a program it would all ow you to export to mp3, is there anywhere i can get this add-on for free? if not then are there other programs that let you convert wav to mpeg?

Taz, I agree. But Syntrillium developed 1.2 a long time ago, and came out with the mp3 plugin later. It's a good sounding mp3 converter, and worth $29 I think. But I'd bet that it's included in the soon-to-be-released version 2.0.

yeah. It's included in Cooledit2000... that was kind of a dissapointment when you upgraded to cepro, but i wanted the multi tracking.. I couldn't use Sawplus fuhevah.
