Mp3'ed Out

Okay ppl I need help ! I'm really not getting this whole mp3 thing. I know that it is much smaller than the standard format. But I don't know how to convert my music into mp3 format. For that matter any format that can be used to upload music in a manner that can function for play on a website. Any input is welcomed

You need to purchase an inexpensive little MP3 ripper program. Audio Grabber, Audio Catalyst... any thing like that. It converts wav files to MP3 files.
Here's a link, you can buy it on-line:

there are loads of freeware mp3 rippers here, http://www.hitsquad.com/smm i use one called blade, its extremely simple, just drag and drop......but you probably all ready have an encoder and don't know it... when exporting audio in cubase you can choose to do so as an mp3, so just load up your .wav and export it as mp3, i've got a feeling that you could probably do the same thing on most multitrack s/ware...
