Exclamation 2 things

Hey guyz!

I am using Vegas Video 3. I have a bunch of tracks laid down, and I am having a problem with this one bass effect part. I have 1 track which is the bass line, and another with this 3 note intro. I have the vibrato effect on it. the problem is that when I play the vibrato bass intro like from where it starts it sounds like it is in the right place, but when I play the song from the beginning it is in the wrong place! What the hell is going on!! The second thing is, is there a way to put a trigger effect on my kick drum? I want like a Fear Factory sound out of it. I know that guy uses triggers, so that's why I am asking.
