M-audio software
My wife got me a audiphile24/96 card for Christmas. Cool!!! Can anybody tell me about the cakewalk software included. The box says Cakewalk metro and gold. How does it compare to N-track and some others?
Thanks. |

You should play with it for a day just to see if you like it.

I remember an application called Cakewalk Express:
http://www.cakewalk.com/products/xp/xp8.html my copy that came with my old AWE 64 Gold software was called Cakewalk Express Gold; maybe they dropped the "Gold" from the name in the most current version on their website. It's basically a very limited version of Cakewalk Pro Audio 8, two versions (about two/two-and-a-half years) back... Never installed it, as I already had Cakewalk Pro Audio when I bought that card... -AlChuck |

Ok so Express has 2 audio tracks according to the write up.
I think I would be better off with MusicMaker Studio Gen 5 that I already have or N-track to go 24 bit. Or maybe Home Studio 2002. What does HS 2002 have to make it better than the others? |
