You mean copy a track from the cd drive? How did you do it? Using 'insert'? Or did you try using Windows Explorer? Using Explorer often doesn't work very well.

Smile

I clicked record in multi track, then selected the track i wanted to add to(or edit) and pressed play on the cd player(that comes with CEP). I get 40% track and 60%hiss. I adjust record level but it increases both hiss and track.

All windows levels are at max and cd-rom drive volume options are at max ,for some reason the level is very low.
I'm using the ISIS card

Why record from a CD for??

Just rip the tracks you want from the cd and then insert them into cool edit
