Post 8 Ch. Parametric EQ & Near-Field Monitors For Sale

Kawai EQ-8 8 Channel Parametric Equalizer

This 1U rack module is a VERY versatile, fully parametric EQ!
Each channel has 3 Q (band-width) options with a cut/boost of -/+15dB at a user selected center frequency ranging from 50Hz-15kHz.

Also, each channel has 3 input level reference options. They are "L" for -10dBV, "M" for 0dB, and "H" for +4dBu. However, on channels 1 and 2, the options are "L", "M", and "MIC"; the "MIC" would be used for microphone levels. You'll find using the "M" (0dB) setting is ideal for most situations, but it's nice to know the other options are there if the occasion arises!

Please note that the input level switch on channel 5 is partially broken of and is set to "M" (0dB). An open saftey-pin could easily adjust it to "L" or "H" if you ever needed to. This really isn't much of an issue as once you set it for interfacing and application(s), there really isn't any need to change it.

There is a 1/4" input and output connection for each channel. So, it can be used as 8 separate, 1-band parametric EQ channels. However, if you only connect to inputs 1, 3, 5, 7 and outputs 2, 4, 6, 8, you then can use this module as 4 separate, 2-band parametric EQ channels. Also, it can be used as 2 separate, 4-band parametric EQ channels by connecting to input 1, going from output 2 to input 3, and out of output 4 for the first channel, and connecting to input 5, going from output 6 to input 7, and out of output 8 for the second channel.

Also includes the original Kawai Model PS-121U2 AC 120V power supply.
